Kinect 1.5 for Windows to Launch in May/June 2012

This one is official; Microsoft would be launching the next version of Kinect for Windows in more than nineteen countries including Hong Kong, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, India, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates in May/June 2012 (though the official word is "in the coming months").

So, what's going to be new? For starters, there would be couple new features like the Kinect Studio, an application that will allow developers to record, playback and debug clips of users engaging with their applications and "seated" skeletal tracking, which provides the capability to track the head, neck and arms of either a seated or standing user. Four new languages - French, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese are also expected to be included for speech recognition.

Now, lets just hope the new XBOX announcement comes soon too.
