Wii - The New Nintendo Revolution

Wii. That's the name for the Nintendo Gaming console, earlied code-named Revolution. Pronounced 'we', Nitendo is hoping this translates to more of Us/'We's playing. The Wii is expected to debut at the E3 show, which is less than two week away.

Though we like others out there aren't very excited with the name; imagine saying this "Oh, I am playing on Wii", "There is a new game for Wii" ...we think the the name is the least of the problems for Nitendo. At E3, Sony is expected to release details about it's PS3 and Microsoft maybe cooking something for the XBOX as well.

Update:

Wii  will be shipping with Opera web browser, as per our sources.

The Sims Complete Collection for Mac

The Sims Complete Collection, as the name suggests includes The Sims, The Sims Hot Date,  The Sims House Party, The Sims Livin' Large, The Sims Makin' Magic, The Sims Superstar, The Sims Unleashed and The Sims Vacation--all in a single package.

If you haven't played Sims before, it's a game where you control virtual people called the 'Sims'; you can get them to date, buy them furniture, put them in awkward situations, buy them furniture, houses and even swimming pools to keep the "The Sims" happy.  It's very addictive and at the price of US $49.95 from the Apple Store for  the entire collection it's a steal!  Great for adults and kids both. Highly recommended if you are into Tagmochi, or virtual pets.

Anyway's if you want one, Marcel Neundörfer is the guy to contact.

Quake 3 on 24 monitors: That's what we call a game!

Quake 3 on 24 Monitors

This is one hell of a Quake machine. Undoubtedly the best of the games out there, playing Quake 3  on a huge display wall made of 24 monitors is quite a thing. That's what the guys at Plastk.net have done using nothing less than 12 linux boxes, each connected to 2 monitors making the grand total of 24. It's well executed hack, but it's definitely easier and cheaper to get a projector or if you have the bucks the 100" LCD panel. > Read more
